Pretty much this entire article is based on the assertion that job losses in the US are "cuz AI" and not, perhaps, dye to the absolute clusterfuck they voted their economy into.

Perhaps the 2 huge ass wars going on clogging up 2 major supplies of oil are to blame? You know, since every single other country impacted by this is experiencing similiar chilling effects?

Its insane to look at those 2 huge wars and the orange turd actively taking dumps on the world economy at an international scale abd then conclude "I think AI is why economy is bad right now"

Also tarrifs and decreased tourism, both of which have been going on for years now.

Americans voted for this. They chose this guy as their leader and now the economy is suffering and jobs are being cut, they're asking "why would AI do this?"
