Previous propaganda innovations, like the printing press, offered benefits to both sides of the class struggle. But AI propaganda potential lies not in generating funny images of Marx. It rests in controlling the model, the training, the pre-prompt instructions, the behavior on the device and the user data. The models and training are much too expensive to be controlled by us, so we have to at least force control over those other things.
