old. I'm having fun learning about lemmy and fediverse now.Honestly it's been great because the login lock finally has broken my doom scrolling habit. Lemmy helps me keep a pulse on some of my interests without being a firehose of bs that was r/all. Mental health and sleep habits have been soaring lol

I've long suspected these companies were doing this, but now it's overt
they ban you for even looking at the site wrong. apparently they dont like "non organic behaviour" like comment too fast after account creation, old inactive accounts become active, or comment in subs(rare) that have some kind of requirement. you are also measured on a hidden thing called CQS score. other things is if your fingerprinting is off.
their AI moderation is terrible now, and it's ruining the website.
They also ban you for suggesting Fascists need to fuck off. They tell you its "inciting violence."
Fuck Reddit. They caved to the fucking Nazis.
