Iirc we knew the ban was coming because it was borderline impossible for a community to be unquarantined. You only get quarantined after you attract the attention of the admins and it's super unlikely that a community of I think 100k+ isn't going to include some people breaking the rules.

We'd already received warnings for 'advocating violence' for 'john brown did nothing wrong' comments & posts, and as the mod-team was (rightfully)unwilling to compromise and ban those who we're saying it it was inevitable

Yeah but we were quarantined for a while though. Felt like the discord started getting posted only days before the ban. That's just my recollection though, I didn't really participate in the subreddit.
