How do you know "anyone" isn't?

It's not like law enforcement gets all hyped up to talk about doing an investigation. To the contrary.

Secondary to that, what jurisdiction was it reported to? I assume someone made a report. But if nobody did, then there's a good possibility than no enforcement agency is aware of the purported crimes.

I had to look the fucker up, but it's not like he was on a national broadcast like used to exist. He was streaming when questionable materials were visible on screen. Everything else is dubious, and not likely to amount to shit in court, so not many prosecutors will touch it. Seriously, the only documented evidence is of stuff that is very low use in building a case.

So, if it got reported, and if someone investigated already, there's a chance they didn't find anything worth prosecuting. If the investigation is ongoing, they might not find anything at all. If the idiot did what he said and got rid of files what would be illegal on discovering they were, indeed, illegal, where's the motivation to prosecute? It would be a drain of resources for little to no benefit to the population at large. Not that such prosecutions never happen, but if the case is weak to begin with, most DA offices don't want to fuck with their stats.

Seriously, if the cursory search I ran gave enough of the facts, dude doesn't need to be arrested, or charged, or put on trial. Plenty of morons don't realize that anime/manga can fall under kiddie porn laws (and they don't everywhere).
