Tends to be a very common thing for USians. You see this in Reddit a lot too, in fact, any place that us focused on US are like this honestly..

And he certainly can't join an organization or start one because that would mean talking to people face-to-face
Or worse, he might have to work cooperatively with people who don’t agree with him on every single issue but share broad goals!
a whole lot of people have no organization to join and most of us aren't capable of founding that shit. I'd consider talking to people face-to-face if there was a preponderance of mask-wearers but people won't even meet me 10% of the way.
