Jared Kushner went on a trip on a Rotschild (yes that one) mega yacht diving around Europe. Then the Albanian prime minister came to their boat and promised to sell them a massive island for a low price (in exchange for political support or bribes from daddy Trump most likely). Shortly after the boat visit the Albanian government privatized the island and sold it to Jared.

Still, this is fucking bullshit. Do people live on the island? Any cultural heritage sites? It's bullshit either way, but that would make it so much worse.

How symbolic.

It's fucked up that they're going to destroy the preserved ecosystem, but not that surprising honestly. I'm so burnt out and disillusioned that nothing really surprises me anymore...

That burnout feeling. I don't know how anybody DOESN'T feel that way. Honestly sometimes I wish I was stupid and could just dive into tiktok and pretend that everything is fine.

The trumpians are all over free real estate in eastern Europe, which started with blackmailing Ukraine for personal mineral rights in exchange for not blocking arms and interfering with the war, then went south from there.
