Update: this might be the new guac meta
this sounds incredible – I’d love to see a recipe (even a rough one), if you’re willing to share!
I was just kinda eyeballing it. 3 avocados, some olive oil to make it easier to mash, roughly a third of a red onion, some minced garlic, some cilantro, some salt, some lime juice, and then I started adding the sumac until I started tasting it.
The sumac onions are a second third of the onion with olive oil, a bit of salt and pepper, a tablespoon and a half of sumac. I tossed that like salad and then garnished with cilantro.
The last third of the onion I just put into the rice and beans I had in the rice cooker.
this sounds incredible, I’ll have to give it a shot (minus the soap herb in my case). thank you for the recipes!
The onion recipe I was looking at actually called for mint, you can go with that. I just didn't feel like buying any
oh I'm probably only making the guac, been in my guac era for a few years now (my guac era may in fact be turning into a rare permanent/recurring obsession). but thank you!
