It is very fucking telling that the actual pushback against this stuff is all from state and local government. With a handful of notable exceptions, federal reps and senators across the board clearly do not give that much of a shit.

Wasn't one of the very first things Trump2.0 did January 2025 to fire a lot of institutional leaders and install his loyalists?

And the whole DOGE affair triggered more leadership change?
