I'd like a return to middle ages and early modern with the Hussite Rebellion or German Peasants War
You are right, I was being too small-minded. I think the Ikko-Ikki uprising could also be cool, though it presents too much opportunity to lib out, and also they just did Japan.
Taiping Rebellion in China too would be pretty wild.
