Wearing graphic tees on an important work call
What's wrong with that? Not everyone works in corporate.
Tee shirts do not telegraph "I'm taking this seriously".
Eta Lots of people don't like questions getting answers in here, I see.
Maybe we should actually focus on how competent people are at something, rather that these arbitrary bullshit details.
He's a comedian, working at Dropout. I'd imagine some informal, expressive clothing would earn him some points there.
At a certain level taking it seriously is enough and people stop bothering you about what you're wearing.
Seems like a safe move when this is your CEO:

That’s why I have several plain white and black shirts that I rotate throughout the week for video meetings, so I look the same every time. If someone takes a screenshot, you won’t be able to tell what day it was just by looking at what I was wearing.
Sounds like you could narrow it down by half. Must have been a white tee day, they'll say.
Hah is that Earnest? I didn't watch any of that but I know the character
Yeah, there are a few scenes from his movies where it shows him opening his closet and all his outfits are the exact same.
Not if they switch mid-way through any call
I just never turn on my camera.
Add to the confusion by changing your briefly turning off your camera, changing your shirt, then camera back on.
Dress for the job you want!
I tried that, I still have the Spider-man costume
