I mean, despite being a country code, I don't think that specific country code was picked on accident knowing that the devs are comrades.
Then why so much liberal disappointment coming from there?
Userbase mostly comes from the Reddit exodus from a few months ago. I think they still managed to keep a relatively decent line against the liberal flood, compared to .world and .ee, but they definitely still have a huge lib problem.
The devs are comrades, but the fact that .ml domains were free was more important to the decision.
