how much pain can you bear?

I'm about to give myself a root canal/filling. I have no dental training. But the pain is more than I can bare.
Ask me anything.
I'm scared guys.
Also had mine all as a result of infected teeth. Ditto this comment. Very fortunate to be in a place now that I can cover the costs of regular cleanings and check ups.
