Everyone’s anatomy is different and this procedure seems more like an art than a science for the urologist.

I had a longish recovery which was like 6 weeks for all of the swelling and 95% of the discomfort to go away but I think mine was out of the norm. During that time it felt like I was recovering from getting kicked in the balls. Not the immediate aftermath of a kick rather a dull ache as if I had been kicked several hours before. Icepacks helped a lot.

Repositioning is needed as there may be a sharp pain here and there but be gentle. Over time any and all pains lessened and disappeared altogether.
