The Israeli ambassador to Italy was enraged to see the latest cover of L’Espresso, a current affairs magazine. Ambassador Peled said the photo, which shows a heavily armed Israeli soldier grimacing at a Palestinian woman with the title "L'Abuso" or "Abuse", promotes “stereotypes and hatred”. The problem, says Aaron Bastani on Novara Live, is that the “hatred” of the Israeli man is no fabrication. The photo speaks for itself. “A snapshot of reality is about as impartial as you can get,” Aaron adds.

Trump's USDA wants to roll back safety rules for meat processing workers. The new rule would eliminate maximum line speeds in pork plants, risking worker and food safety. Twelve Palestinian prisoners, including one woman, were released by Israel and arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Gaza on Wednesday. The twelve were released two days ahead of April 17, or Palestinian Prisoners Day. Every year on this day, Palestine solidarity activists commemorate those detained in Israeli prisons, bringing attention to their inhumane conditions and advocating for their release.

Israel killed four paramedics in a triple-tap strike last week, just a day after the US and Iran agreed to a ceasefire. Three teams of paramedics ventured out to the site of an Israeli air strike in Lebanon, and each unit was bombed in succession. One of the victims was 43-year-old Fadel Serhan, whom the BBC spent several days with whilst reporting on drone strikes. On Thursday, Cubans celebrated the 65th anniversary of Fidel Castro’s declaration of the socialist nature of the Cuban Revolution following the failed Bay of Pigs invasion in 1961. President Miguel Diaz-Canel decried U.S. aggression, stating that it was “our duty to prepare ourselves to defend" the revoluton, just as Cubans did in 1961.

Through this dark network, people can move vast sums of money without paying taxes or facing scrutiny.
