When I made my first comment there were only two other comments in here suggesting that Networkers were all a "bunch of assholes" who aren't genuine and say things like "let's connect" when they don't mean it. Since then the conversation has become a lot more nuanced.

Step 1 - Putin doesn't like a thing.
Step 2 - Putin says that if you do the thing you'll get nuked.
Step 3 - Putin's little cyber puppets flood social media with posts "concerned" about the risks of him launching the mighty nukes. Oh noes!
Step 4 - Putin hopes you believe him.
Step 5 - Nobody believes him.

...some times passes...

aaand we're back to Step 1...

"This is have absolutely no effect on Cloudflare."

It appears to have gotten the CEO worried enough about brand damage that he felt he had to post some bullshit.

"Matthew Prince, the CEO and co-founder of the technology company, has reacted. “We fired ~40 sales people out of over 1,500 in our go-to market org. That's a normal quarter. When we're doing performance management right, we can often tell within 3 months or less of a sales hire, even during the holidays, whether they're going to be successful or not. Sadly, we don't hire perfectly. We try to fire perfectly,” Prince wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Acknowledging that they were “far from perfect” in this case, Mr Prince said, “The video is painful for me to watch. Managers should always be involved. HR should be involved, but it shouldn't be outsourced to them, No employee should ever actually be surprised they weren't performing. We don't always get it right.”

I recently re-installed The Crew 2 because I wanted to start a new character and start the story again from scratch. Unfortunately I'd forgotten that YOU CAN'T START AGAIN (Jackie Chan Confused Meme). Because of these ridiculous shenanigans of theirs your progress is inextricably tied to your online account. They have literally built a system that limits replayability. Bravo.

Soon there won't be an inch of the planet that isn't being live streamed, whether people are aware of it or not. I really wish Mark had been hugged more as a child.

I have no idea about Harris history but this seemed like such a biased headline and gossipy article I did a little digging about who the Washington Examiner is. Apparently it's a right wing paper owned by a billionaire mega donor to Trump's campaign.

Makes a little more sense now.

My online experience has been much better without reddit. kbin is awesome and I want nothing to do with reddit. Last week I deleted my 10 year old account and I even add "-reddit" to the end of my google searches now so nothing from them comes up in the results. The interesting thing I'm noticing is that the longer I'm away from that toxic hellhole the better I feel. Thank goodness for kbin!

On a sidenote, I'm also fully aware that a company as aggressive and twisted as reddit will definitely have agents in here trying to manipulate the conversation to get people to come back. I ain't never coming back. Reddit sucks. I see you. Quit your BS.
