Kinda unrelated, but I really liked the option in 'Manor Lords' to put little farms/animals in houses. I wish they implement something like this. I also miss animal farms, but I think they are putting it in a DLC.

I could swear some updates ago (after v1), the boar population would decrease if there was too many hunters, but would reappear if the hunting stopped for a while. Last time I played (last week), the boar population seemed to stay unchanged

1000 population? How's the gameplay? My max until today was around 650 and was becoming a bit sluggish

[–] luckey@lemmy.zip 3 points 2 weeks ago

It is! Had to run the game a bit to stabilize and wait for the homeless to leave the city, but it's running better than before. I'm still having some CTD but I think it's some mod I'm using.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, pathfinding was always a bit funky, but used to be fun seeing people generating roads, sometimes I needed to use the 'Forbidden Land' to make things work. After the launch of v1, they are taking longer paths because they don't create new ones. For me, like I said in the post, the most infuriating thing is they crossing the houses backyard to go somewhere. I arrived at 650 pop in my last game, and it was struggling a bit when painting areas and putting buildings. I have a decent gaming pc, so I hope they fix it soon. I was also having logistical effeciency problems, with the granaries full of something and the markets are empty, with the market tenders 'waiting for work'. I had to cheat the markets to keep playing, as I spent hours trying to fix it.

Have you tried after todays update? Seems much better now.

Seems to be on a good way! I like the 'Random Scale' option when placing objects.

Here's the video with the highlights

Been playing since the first versions of EA, the game been praised many times for its pathfinding and organic road generator. But after the launch of version 1, I feel that is worse than before. The people crossing backyards instead of creating a main road between houses is driving me insane.

YEE-HAW! The Western theme returns on March 20th as part of Update 3 for Planet Coaster 2.

Here's a full chisel look at building with the rootin'-tootin' new scenery pieces!

For what I've read, people are most upset with UI and basic things from PC1 not being present in PC2. They sound right, tho. The path tool looks amazing, I can't wait to try it! The change of CirectX version seems to be great as well, like I said in my last post in the community, I can't play my park in Planco 1 because it stutters so much and the fps drops like crazy with a bigger park. Can't wait to try the Planco 2!

Hello! I've been part of the Lemmy community for almost 2 years, but now it was time to join Lemmy.zip and create some communities. This instance seemed the perfect one to host some gaming communites I missed on Lemmy, so I created them. (One of the most beautiful part of fediverse/lemmy is the option to keep things organized, so a Lemmy about gaming? Here I am!)

!PlanetCoaster@lemmy.zip Is a community about Planet Coaster games, to share your parks, rolercoasters and discuss game updates.

!foundationgame@lemmy.zip Foundation is an Indie game by Polymorph Games where you build your medieval village. I missed this community on Lemmy and users can share their villages, questions and game updates. The game just came out of Early Acess last month.

I also started modding a community for Cities Skylines. This community was abandoned and I asked to mod it. I know this is not on Lemmy.zip, but it was the community with most users/posts about the game. Again, to stay organized, for me, it wouldn't make sense to create another one and disperse users even more. For those interested in joining its !citiesskylines@lemmy.ml.

I'm also thinking about creating one for 'Kingdoms Reborn' game. Is anyone instaread in this?

Thank you for the lemmy.zip devs/mods for creating this space in the fediverse/lemmy about games!

I hope you enjoy the communities I created!

Also, just noticed this is from Planet Coaster 2. Amazing! What are you thinking of the game compared with 1? I want to play it so much! I didn't have the chance to play it yet as I have no money right now to buy it.
