True, yeah there's not much of a story if he just knew who she was from the start. I was just wondering how long he'd continue being oblivious.

Also thought it was wild they went right back smoking after his scare.

Picked the first volume up at my local library without knowing anything about it. Was a light read and the MC is pretty dense, but mostly enjoyed it. Thanks for this, guess I can pick up where I left off

That's refreshing to see in a world of ever increasing enshittification. Wish more companies move in this direction.

That's great, let's hope they invest in the infrastructure needed to make it convenient.

Bass said the city will utilize 3,000 buses loaned to it from around the country to ease traffic congestion. The U.S. government last month pledged $900 million to help improve the city's rail and bus systems in anticipation of the Games.

MSFT has a $3T market cap and $60B of free cash flow each year, so I doubt they're hurting for money. This is how "growth at all costs" incentivizes myopic decision-making and doesn't really help foster an environment where studios are willing to take creative risks. Even when they succeed (a la Hi-Fi Rush) they're on the perpetual chopping block.

Oat milk is the best alternative I've found. Most places offer it so I switched to oat milk lattes and haven't gone back.

If brewing at home, there are barista versions made specifically for coffee, but the original works too.

Recently moved over to porkbun after dealing with a couple billing issues with namecheap and not getting the best customer service. Been pretty happy so far.

I'm glad you guys took a measured approach. This right here is the difference between a corporation and Lemmy. I can't imagine a for-profit reversing its decision in the interest of the community unless it affected their bottom line or stock price. Hats off to the admin team for working through all these complex issues.

Good on them, hope more cases follow this precedent. We all inhabit the same planet and should have a vested interest in keeping it liveable.

Youth plaintiffs did not ask for any damages beyond their attorneys' fees and costs, which were awarded by the court. To young people suing, winning is seemingly just about pushing the state to embrace climate science and mitigate known harms moving forward.

Mad respect. People over profits.

I'd wager a sizeable number of half-ton pickup trucks are used solely as people movers, i.e. the bed and towing capabilities aren't utilized. In many countries, trade workers more than manage with light vehicles, like kei trucks in Japan, so I think they'd work for the average weekend warrior too.
