While committing crimes is bad, I can’t help but feel like there are people in very high up positions who have committed far worse crimes….

The animation looks really slick. This looks super polished.
I worked retail and retail adjacent for almost 20 years. I just started a corporate job for a very big electronics company. The answer?
Know people.
I know it sucks to hear, but it really truly is who you know. I got lucky once but it’s seriously all about the connections you make. Your best bets are from informal friends. People who know you well enough to say you’d be good for a job, but they’re not invested in you either being there or not.
The only reason I am where I am now is because I made connections. Read the book “How to Win Friends and Influence People” if you’re an introvert. It helped me understand how people view each other’s interactions better.
There’s a lot of remote jobs too that you can start looking into. Use your retail planning and selling experience for remote sales roles or remote account management.
I blame the American education system. (Or lack there of)
Am I the only one who has never heard the term “ICE” referring to Internal Combustion Engine vehicles? I hate how headlines deliberately make new acronyms or limit context to get people to click on the article.
Winamp. It really kicks the llama’s ass.
Lulu’s Bakery on Union Turnpike in Fresh Meadows makes the best chocolate frosted doughnut in NY and possibly the US. I haven’t even had THAT many chocolate frosted doughnuts around the country, but I don’t know how someone makes a chocolate frosted doughnut better than that.
Their tours are a single piece of a larger story. One tour is different than the next. It’s not episodic, but if you’ve been to one you’ll see recurring characters and themes in another. They have comics and their music to further fill in the pieces of the overall story of GWAR.
I’ve seen GWAR 18 times, going on 19 this April. There’s nothing like it. It’s so absurd and fun and over the top. It’s true “art” in the sense that it’s all their creation and all an expression of how they feel about things, but covered in space jizz.
The call is coming from inside the house.
True, but it’s really sad that we’re looking at Tucker Carlson - of all people - in 2026 and being like “no seriously, hear him out, he’s got a point”
Are any of those 3 year conversion deals still around?
