Ross mentions reverse engineering towards the end of the vid so it's definitely top of mind now for the future of the initiative, bar rebooting it with someone else. Calling one of the most polite, succinct and eager to explain themselves YouTubers a greasy used car salesman is just an automatic red flag, just unbelievably skeevy behavior from him.
And coming soon! The one midnight showing of the indie movie everyone secretly wants to watch.
Love that for once we're mostly not mocking them and are actually sharing similar experiences, we've all had one of those moments.
When GTA VI is 98% installed but you feel a tightness in your chest.
I guess it comes and goes now since I only ran into it once recently, but the entirety of RATMs discog will appear as labelled with that content warning that you need to manually confirm and it can make playing music let alone an album from them a chore, reuploaded a copy of their discog onto the private library to get around it but sometimes I'll forget, queue an official upload and be like "oh yeah they still haven't fixed this" when everything pauses. Other than that YTM is endgame music streaming, the YT community as the backend for streaming music, the actual proper releases and the ability to manage a private library is just perfect.
Just wished the player didn't break when content warnings popped up, can't play RATM as a result.
