I mean fair enough, i use this version of Spotify and don't pay them a single cent: https://bestforandroid.com/apk/spotify-premium-mod-apk/

But if I was a paying customer i would be pretty pissed opening Spotify the first time on my 3 week travels and seeing this crap :-O Funnily there isn't even an option to change the location as suggested. Neither in the modded app nor on spotify.com on FF mobile.

Probably nothing new for you all. But I think the Deathbrand Armor without helmet looks amazing. Really like that high collar.

Keep in mind that this graph shows core temperature. It is obvious to most but it should be written down.

Don't want someone with little to no cooking experience look at this chart and put his huge turkey for a couple of seconds in the oven at 165°F / 74°C 😅

Let me say that your comment is on topic and a valuable addition to the conversation. I hope you get many upvotes.

Personally I think you should be banned from eating a good cut of meat ever again. The boiled leather of an old worn out shoe should be a feast for you.

Thanks for providing some actual numbers and context.

Sometimes I am really surprised by the absolute laziness of 'journalists'. Your comment contains more information than the so called article.

Neither the article nor the post are worth anything: They don't tell any of the interresting parts. What are the temperatures? How long have the temperatures been like that? Why are all the cars at 0%? Why won't they charge?

Every halfway decent EV has an electric heater for the batteries. As long as there is juice in the batteries it will stop them from falling below a certain temperature to prevent permanent damages. Even if the heating drained all that was left, if you plug it in - the heating can start again. Why is this suddenly a problem in Chicago while many European countries regularly have -20°C and no dead Teslas or other EVs?

What is 440ml to begin with? A propper beer in a can is 500ml, a propper beer in a bottle is 330ml or 500ml. Everything else is a scam.

Most of the articles writing about it seem to reference following reddit post: https://old.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/17ywbjj/whenever_i_open_a_youtube_video_in_a_new_tab_its/k9w3ei4/

Following code is pointed out:

setTimeout(function() {
    c();
    a.resolve(1)
 }, 5E3);

While this is a 5s timeout, the code itself does not check for the user agent. So wherever the code is the 5s timeout will occur. The code also does not seem to be injected server side. I spoofed my user agent and for good measure installed a fresh google chrome, both times the code was present. So this code cannot be used to make any browser slower without making the other browsers slow too.

There is a response to the reddit post, which most articles seem to take their intel from. IMO this response does a good job at exploring what the code could be used for and points out that it is more than likely not for slowing down Firefox users: https://old.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/17ywbjj/whenever_i_open_a_youtube_video_in_a_new_tab_its/ka08uqj/

I am amused by thinking that many journalists seem to take this story from a post on reddit, without even reading the direct responses - or just copy from another article.

This is not correct.

Most of the posts/articles reference following reddit post: https://old.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/17ywbjj/whenever_i_open_a_youtube_video_in_a_new_tab_its/k9w3ei4/ . It shows the code from your screenshot. However the code does not check the user agent and is not injected server side (I checked by user agent spoofing and using a freshly installed chrome). So it will run on every browser and cannot be used against some specific ones.

There is an answer to the post everyone seems to reference, which goes a bit deeper into what the code could do: https://old.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/17ywbjj/whenever_i_open_a_youtube_video_in_a_new_tab_its/ka08uqj/

Hurting people hurt people.

Shit rolls downhill.

All i am trying to say is that, sadly, being the opressed doesn't mean you cant be an oppressor. The world is complex...

Stop using chrome! You cannot win using the browser provided by google. On Firefox adblock still works like a charm.

Nowadays everything seems newsworthy... I would not be mad about it if Bethesda did not include a pronoun setting, i am not mad someone made a mod to remove said option, i am not mad nexus keeping its sovereignty to decide what they host...

What is everyone mad about? Just let ppl do whatever they do.
