I don't disagree with anything you're saying.

I just want people to ponder this: What happens when we ostracize people with bigoted beliefs from our communities? Does that mean we have given up on the idea that communities can change people? Does that mean our community is not responsible for helping people realize their bigotry?

For sure. My 2017 Thinkpad T470 is still going strong. One trade-off I've made that has kept it speedy is disabling cpu mitigations. Puts me at risk I suppose, but my computer is still very fast as a result.

Yeah, I'm not going to verify all the maintainers of the software I use is vegan, believes in climate change, and left. While I believe the causes are just and important, not every moment is a time to align values and divide.
