Although they’re natively supported in iOS, there’s some lingering bug in iMessage that doesn’t display them (they get shoved into a little tiny bubble and you can’t expand them). Looks like it’s been that way for years now, still not fixed. Not sure if it’s the minority on Lemmy, but definitely quite a few iPhone users out there.
