I did night shift for about 18 years, if you include the years I was a baker and did 3am-11am shift.

It was definitely bad for the body, I think the worst thing for people is that they try to live a dayshift life while on nightshift and that just kills you faster, you sleep 2 or 3 hours so you can live a day life while falling asleep on the job.

If your going to do nights then treat it like the day/night is reversed.

I actually got some things at a kitchen supply auction site that had a local warehouse. I got a 2 pack of paring knives for a few bucks and there is no brand on it. I know that will last for a long time because I had the exact same ones like it back in the late 90s in my high school chef training class.

If anyone has bankruptcy auction warehouses in their city, look for things there because restaurants go out of business all the time and sell off everything to try to pay off their debts. I sometimes see things that were obviously bought from them then when that restaurant goes under the ovens and fryers end up back on auction before the restaurant even opens to the public.

Go to your local kitchen supply store. Even reasonably sized city will have one. Some stuff will be cheap in price and last forever in a house setting, some things will be expensive but will also last forever in a house setting.

They are built to be used heavily and harshly and last for years in a commercial kitchen so a home kitchen will not be a problem.

If you get stainless steel pans just know that you need to heat them up to the point where water splashed in rolls like tiny marbles around before you add oils to cook food to get a non stick surface.

Ding Ding Ding.

If they had given council members a device to shut off the cameras for themselves and rich donors then they wouldn't have shut it down.

Maybe they should consider changing the speed limits a bit.

Aww are they scared of being bombed?

The locked up borders was the only thing I can actually agree with their govt on. If you are so happy to let the Palestinians get bombed for 20 months then you best be ready to get your just desserts.

So now that they have released the crazy ramblings of a mentally ill man who just murdered 2 people, and injuring two, the rest of the crazies are going to parrot it around like it is the truth because they will hear it on repeat when they tune into Fox, OANN, and Alex Jones.

Edit: original reports were not sure about survivors and so much other insane news has happened that I didn't check updates for this crazy news.

I installed it on a partition along side windows 10.

I installed openrazer to control my keyboard and the next time I loaded it up only the number keys worked.

I'm not sure what my next steps will be but I'm enjoying it other than this issue, it reminds me of the good old DOS days back when I was a kid.

Sometimes I watch Ukrainian videos of their hits on Russian targets. It is nice to watch the attacked hitting back at the invading force.

Now I get to watch an insane aggressor get punched repeatedly after 19+ months of them commiting genocide.

My only hope is these counterattacks from Iran distract and take resources from the Israeli attacks on Gaza and the West Bank.

Trigun- the original series, I've watched it completely three times and started a fourth when I was disappointed by the new series.

The theme song kicks ass, the story is a bit of a slow burn at first when you think it is just a light hearted buffoon wandering the wasteland but it slowly develops into a western adventure with bigger stakes than anyone on the planet really realizes are happening.

They can have an ethno-dictatorial state or they can have a democracy. They can't have both.
