"Just kept tossing their hair and looking at me."

Are we sure the employees weren't shaking their heads at the customer and they are just an idiot? I'm also assuming the doors were already locked, or they would have just walked in, and the hours are typically posted on the door. I feel that should be enough of an indication the store is closed. People don't need to have their hands held through everything I life. Expecting a little independence from them isn't being not nice.

It shouldn't be pushed on people, but it should be talked about to give people more choice and agency in their home computing.

I fail to see the equivalency between "murder a bunch of people" and "a bunch of people are no longer allowed in a luxury resort".

No, no they aren't. Some people were never responsible gun owners to begin with, regardless of anyone's beliefs around guns.

Other comment made great points on MintOS and PopOS for beginning a Linux journey.

SteamOS isn't available for a full PC release (that I am aware of), but Bazzite was made to be a full-distro alternative to SteamOS. I haven't tried it myself yet, but it has good reception from what I see.

Linux Mint is very easy to pick up, though, and I highly recommend for someone coming from Windows. It is fully functional through GUI and has several different flavors for the desktop environment. I'm a fan of KDE, but Cinnemon was also very nice. A version of KDE Plasma is what SteamOS 3.0 uses. I'm not as big of a fan of GNOME, but a lot of people love it as a mor elegant, modern desktop environment.

"I use arch, btw"

Everyone else talking about raw eggs, I just had a mental image of someone completely splattering an egg on their counter

"I have spent time in the morning casting every part of the Fireball spell except the final trigger word four times, I need to rest and pre-cast it again."

You've got to remember that these are just simple twitter posts. These are people of the land. The common clay of the new social media age. You know... morons.

Look, not even getting into the cause of his death, it's extremely fucked up that they didn't attempt to contact family of the deceased after he died, and even covered it up and had it from his mother after she approached them for information.

You can say it was his own fault all you want, but that changes nothing about how atrocious they handled the whole thing.
