Great. Another Google service gets shut down. Why even bother with using any Google service at this point?

Well this one is odd only because for end users it’s kind of seamlessly moved to the Health Connect service. The issue here is the new thing has a shittier dev experience and less features.

This all stems from how internally they only reward new products and not features or maintenance on existing products. So entire teams just spin up copies of existing products instead of working on a V2 overhaul in-place

I'm so tired of it happening that I avoid investing time and data into Google products now. YouTube Music is worse than Google (Play) Music, Gmail is worse than Inbox, YouTube Music is worse than Google Podcasts... The list goes on.

I moved to AntennaPod from Google podcasts. Would recommend.

I like Podcast Addict, but yeah, there are some good choices out there!

I’ve just stopped using anything google, as it’ll be killed soon enough anyway.

It's very sad that polar products don't work. Their heart rate monitor bands are the absolute gold standard for activity heart rate monitoring. Correlate the best with professional equipment out of any monitor including the apple watch.

That being said, amazing initiative. An open source api bridge like this and openRGB make everyone's life 10x easier!
