Xi "And then I told him his hands were very big!"
Putin and Xi "HAHAHAHA!!!!!"

[–] redsand@infosec.pub 7 points 1 week ago

Putin: "Did he say 'thank you'?" Xi through tears: "He did." Both: "AHAHAHAHAHA!"

Xi prefers to give orders to all of his vasalls personally.

lol 😂 did Xi tell Putin to enter into the Ukrainian civil war? Was he behind his rise into Russian politics?

Better question: how will he treat him compared to Trump?

[–] EyIchFragDochNur@lemmy.world 0 points 1 week ago

Now Xi is the mightiest person on the planet. Why should he not make them do what he wants? This doesn't mean that he doesn't allow them to do other things as well. I'm not a fan, but it is what it is

This is the stupidest episode of love island ever.

But Xi took Trump also to his special place and now Putin is jelly.

Xi added, "There ‌are also 1,000-year-old trees in other places."

Trump asked Xi if other foreign leaders were also received in the compound.

"Very rarely," Xi responded. "At first, we usually didn't hold diplomatic events here. Even after we started having some, it's still extremely rare. For example, Putin has been here."

Then he invited Trump to touch a 280-year-old tree.

"Good. I like it," Trump replied.

And he let Trump touch his tree trunk

Extremely. Their foreign interference campaigns are doing substantial damage to western democracy. They are an extremely hostile fascist nation.

You know Western Democracy is fascism right?

[–] umbrella@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 week ago

the leaders you keep electing and your oligarchs are doing damage to western democracy.

[–] Forsho@sh.itjust.works 0 points 1 week ago

You make it sound like “Western democracy” and “fascism” do not walk hand on hand in Palestine, Libya, Cuba or 30 other countries that your “eurocentrism culture” wants to loot.

They produce 10% of the world’s oil and 24% of its natural gas. Literally one of the most important countries on earth, which the Europeans rely on. When a human starves themselves of food, they die. When Europe starves itself of energy, its economies begin to wither.

[–] cenariodantesco@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago (1 children)

correct me if I'm wrong but, the last couple weeks Russia's oil has been burning, is it still 10%?

[–] EvergreenGuru@lemmy.world 0 points 1 week ago

Hard to say, but less oil means higher prices. So Ukraine/Western Europe, and the USA have lowered global supply and spiked prices with their wars.

[–] Treczoks@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

Don't worry, he is just there to pick a few boxes of papers that Trump left for him.

I would have waited a few more days to ensure not to catch some nasty disease.

Well, they needed a few days to hose off Trump's chairs.
