edit: especially the bathrooms, yeah. if i have to pee and its a choice between texaco/711/chevron/whateverthefuck right now and bucees 20 minutes from now, unless im prariedogging im gonna hold out for the bucees 9/10.

It has nothing to do with the beaver theme gift shop and everything to do with those bathrooms being spotless and those soft drinks and gas being cheap.

All other gas stations in all other restrooms across Texas and across the US, is like playing Russian roulette. And you don't know if you're getting the bullet until you walk into that restroom. Most of them always smell like they've been mopping the floors in rancid piss for the last six months.

Absolutely. I've spent the last 20 years road tripping in TX and Bucees made it so much nicer that even the non-Bucees stops have had to up their game or people will straight up hold it for the next 100 miles.

If I have my family in the car, I have a mutiny on my hands if I refuse to pull over.

The main benefits of buccees is that you can rely on them to be easy to find, always open, always with pumps available and actually cheap gas, always with recently cleaned restrooms with low to no wait (at least the larger ones) regardless of business,with hot food that is filling if overpriced (and legit quality BBQ) and a huge selection of any kind of gas station snack or beverage, particularly cheap sodas and hot coffee.

They just tick all the boxes and are a safe reliably pleasant experience.
