Some subset of Europeans seem to enjoy rubbing American problems in our collective faces.
On the one hand, I get it. Americans have been jerks for centuries, and in modern history we've been rich jerks. On the other, it's unlikely that snark on Lemmy is going to reach a titan of American Imperialism. The same jerks are taking advantage of all of us.
The bill formerly marketed as the "Big Beautiful Bill" has turned into the "Unaffordable Health Care" act, also known as "Trumpdoesn'tcare".
Oh this is what he meant when he said America went wrong somewhere and he will return to the golden past glad that's cleared up. To be fair it never became affordable because all we got was not even half measures.
But he had CONCEPTS of a Plan? HOW is this POSSIBLE!
The tariffs would directly bring down health care prices ofcourse, the world is going to pay for the US healcare system immediately.

This could be biggest gift horse to the left. This is the type of opportunity/crisis that could politically propel Medicare for All.
The only thing holding it back would be the Democrats and their donor class, which prevented this type of reform, or even the public option, back in Obama 1.
They need to be pressured to adopt Medicare for All in their party platform for all future election cycles until it's implemented.
Medicare for All needs to become a non-negotiable litmus test for all Democrats seeking or holding office.
This is what his supporters want apparently.
