Google Maps navigation is getting a Power Saving Mode. When driving, you can tap the power button for a simplified layout that shows only key information, like the map and next turns. Google says this can extend your battery life by up to 4 hours. This is available on the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

Wonder why this would be a 10-only feature. ☹️ Seems to me like it should work on any model with an AMOLED display. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

But then you'd have no additional incentive to throw your perfectly fine 8 Pro in the trash and buy the 10.

Yeah, I'm not about to exchange my 9 Pro to get this, and sacrifice my Battery Share feature. πŸ™Žβ€β™‚οΈ

Google being google. You can download osmand and remove most information for a profile and recreate a similar navigation experince.

Likely, we could find a way to trick google maps.
