They are also planning to ban cis women with “higher than normal testosterone levels” from an article I read. So this whole thing is pretty bad.

At this point I am wondering why they just don't create a new category. Like boxing, imagine excluding people due to their weight, only large heavyweight boxers would dominate, cannot have a 140kg beat the shit out of a 55kg

Unfortunately, this will be cited by local/regional/noncompetitive leagues to justify their own bans. here in the US at least, the way your kid's softball team trains and competes is a mimicry of the most elite. This will have an effect at every level, even if the number of trans folks at the highest competitive level is too small to even be effectively studied.

Yeah, US as well... Nothing more important going on nationally so we we've got plenty of legislative time to federally negotiate sportsball rules,.. since the leagues aren't capable of determining fair rules on their own.
