One time a bouncer took my friend's actual ID. He just got a bug up his ass or something and started taking all out of state IDs. He's like "well, call the cops if you want it back" thinking we wouldn't. So I had to call the cops which was super annoying.
When i was in college my friend gave me his old ID when he got a new one when he turned 21 and it worked like a charm even though we were different hair, eye color and different heights.
Seems most people are just looking if its real and the date adds up
