First day went well!
I share an office with the head of sales which is pretty sweet.
A lot to take in and I'm getting home a bit later because I stayed back for a bit longer.
Got taken out to lunch with leadership team and that was pretty cool!

Man, Springvale Rd is always shit traffic. With all the speed limit changes and people not paying attention it feels like everyone just does 50 instead of 60/70/80. Fuck Springvale Rd.

Baked a loaf this morning before work after proving overnight. I can't believe how soft the crumb is for a sourdough. Of course now it's mostly gone ๐

I mis-typed that the first time as "turn your back on the grey outside and sneeze", which is actually also appropriate at this hayfever inducing time of year.
Anyone got any bedding recommendations? I need new bedding. I've worn through another set. First I wear through the fitted sheet, then I start using the flat sheet as a fitted sheet, then I wear through that. I'm currently wearing through a linen throw that was about twice the material weight of the sheets. Not Bed Threads, that's what I've just worn through.
W.H Amad supply hotels, manufacture in Coburg and supply to public. They have more durable options and can make doona covers with your own custom colour scheme -- though limited colours.
Second this. W H Amad are excellent. Yes you can order online. They do sheets etc. for most of the big hotels and their plain white linen sheets etc. are excellent. Mine are now plus 15 years and still going strong - even after 2 teenage boys. They cost, but they're worth it. The only better ones I've got are the irish linen sheets my MOTHER bought when she married back in the 50s - these are starting to wear out but are still usable.

Pakige contained some cheap slip on shoes, which are now at the back door in case I need to go out to the garden that way. The new house having more doors has meant I also need more shoes, The hard bit now is making sure I always go back in the same door I exited from so I can reclaim my slippers.

Went to Welcome To Thornbury yesterday for the first time in ages. There was this fantasy market and it was the first time I saw more of the place than just the food truck area. That place has come along nicely and is really popping off
Looking at the grey and stoked af because i want to finish the paving and my photosensitivity is being a bitch. that 30 seconds of weekend sunshine nuked my arm.
