She covered herself in tattoos. I'm not a tattoo artist but I feel like that would be difficult especially on the chest

Her husband, Gus Wagner, was also a tattoo artist and taught her. Together, they traveled around the US in circuses and sideshows. She started out as an aerialist in the same circus and traded a date with him for a tattoo lesson.

It doesn't say explicitly, but I bet he did a lot of the harder areas.

Use a mirror. Same as learning to write with both hands, it gets easier over time.
