With so much wrong in the world and the US right now these fetid sacks of gangrenous anal sphincters are focused on hurting one person because it makes them feel good.

It would be so fucking funny if she sued them for workplace sexual harassment.

[-] todd_bonzalez@lemm.ee 5 points 2 days ago

I mean, she literally cannot. Congress is not bound by worker protection laws. Politicians are not workers.

[-] ChonkyOwlbear@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

Not that I don't believe politicians would exempt themselves, but where does it say this?

Using the assembled powers of the entire US Congress to bully literally a single trans woman sounds about right

All the single issue economy voters realizing the Trump administration is single issue too

If them going through Hunter Biden's dick pics while the price of everything was going through the roof wasn't enough to show Republican voters they don't care, them being bullies to the 1st transgender member while the price of things still remains high isn't going to change those voters either.

In fact, they may enjoy watching members of Congress gang up and bully this new member.

Fortunately for them, Republicans will inherit a healthy economy from Biden, which will eventually lead to decreased inflation and lower prices, so all the voters will continue supporting Trump and his bullies.

The Two Santa Clauses tactic strikes yet again, as it has done over and over and over and over for the past forty-odd years.

The AP article made a mistake,

Democrat Sarah McBride — the first transgender person to be elected to Congress

She is the first OPENLY transgender person elected to Congress.

I can't be sure she is the first. I think everyone in Congress should be required to show their genitals on live TV at the start of every session. That way the American people can be sure they know who they've voted for. We don't want liars in Congress do we?

[-] turtlepower@lemm.ee 23 points 3 days ago

She should just shit on their desks if they won't let her use the bathrooms.

[-] 2030TimeTraveler@sh.itjust.works 17 points 3 days ago

Shit on the floor

The House Floor I mean

[-] Nougat@fedia.io 17 points 3 days ago

Literally. Bring a Harbor Freight five gallon bucket and keep it next to your seat. Bring it up to the podium when you're speaking. Use it on the House Floor.

Also, require the House Sergeant at Arms and their staff to demand to see the genitalia of anyone who wants to use any gender-specific House restroom. No scofflaws, 100% enforcement.

Each time as well. Can never be too careful with those transgenerators. Never know when someone's gonna pop out and switch things up to get access to the closer toilet.

shall we prosecute republicans molesting kids while we are at it? I know it's not as important but you know maybe you can squeeze that in your agenda.

[-] atomicorange@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago

Piss in his office. Fucking asshole republicans should mind their own business.

Sometimes, I really do wish Jesus were real and would speak to these idiots.

[-] pupbiru@aussie.zone 2 points 1 day ago

sometimes? fuck i wish he were real in all situations so that literally 90% of the worlds problems evaporated over night when there’s no more bickering and misrepresenting religion

who am i kidding, with literal jesus we would still do that

[-] Didros@beehaw.org 1 points 1 day ago

Indeed, also I don't think a single omnipotent presence would be all positive.

Johnson better be careful, he won't be allowed to use the restroom either if he gets to the binary division stage of his reproduction.
