I had some Evercade carts, but ended up selling them all. They make good shelf candy and the emulation is great, but it is still flash memory glued to a board, and that will always be a weakness (limited read/write cycles). One of my carts just stopped working, Blaze replaced it no problem, so I took advantage of that to sell my collection. It was hard to sell my Toaplan carts, though.

The only games I've heard of on these carts are Ando Dunos and Ganryu.

I confess I've been tempted by Evercade stuff, but I've only gotten the Neo Geo specific little handheld, for sentimental reasons. I appreciate the heads up about the carts' lifespan though!

Pretty sure it isn't a major issue, just a thing that can happen. They know it can happen, so perhaps they're working on solutions. It happened on a cart that required lots of saving (Cathedral) and I read similar complaints about lots of carts on Reddit. I still have a Taito Super Pocket that nobody wanted to buy. It is my airplane Bubble Bobble machine.
