Like this symbol was largely obsolete except as an honorific title for "Habibi Che" and no-one else. I was using the symbol after the title of Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions, though, which may or may not have been a faux pas.
When I found out about this "habibi" symbol, I remarked on how it looked more like a Chinese character than Arabic writing. Supposedly that was "because of the Silk Road", i.e. that this glyph came to Arabic from Chinese.
That is so weirdly specific that it feels like it could've been actual history
ever read something that makes you think "oh, ok now i understand how people used to believe in gods/angry nature spirits" or whatever?
this is the kind of thing that made people believe in inherited memories
