The only mistake here is the OP not understanding the legal requirements for the manufacturer to delineate the electrical limitations of their product. You will find that limitation on every set of electrical leads you buy.
Not only was Gemini being helpful by pointing those limitations out, but it informed the op that he could request additional help to see if the leads were safe for his particular use.
I find it odd when people complain about helpful information.
