Seeing Bryan Cranston as a goofy, kinda dopey dad when you're used to him being an unhinged violent drug dealing is quite the tone shift.

Did you see the gag "alternate ending" to Breaking Bad that was a Malcolm in the Middle bit that framed Breaking Bad as just Hal having a nightmare?

Bob Newhart. They basically rebooted his own show, and ended the second show with the "it was all just a dream" gag with him back in the first show.
