But that doesn't follow:

The first premise is that scientific names are not botanical Latin.

Then it's followed up that botanical Latin doesn't need to be pronounced like classical or ecclastical Latin.

The conclusion that therefore scientific names do not need to follow said pronunciation rules is false, as it has been concluded they are not the same.

Joey is right.

Either that or the entire meme can just be the third panel, and no botanical name need to be involved.
