Petro is based. Colombia itself is a mess and is lucky he fell into the presidency.

Colombian chuds are almost as crazy as Brazilian ones but make up a much larger percentage of the populace. I worry for Petro

Oof kinda hard comparison. I think brazilian chuds are crazier, but colombian chuds are more dangerous.

2 months ago, Gustavo Petro gave a speech at the UN in New York, calling for Nations to form "powerful army" to stop the genocide in Gaza. "We need a powerful army of the countries that do not accept genocide,” “That is why I invite nations of the world and their peoples more than anything, as an integral part of humanity, to bring together weapons and armies.”

After giving his speech, Petro joined a group of Pro-Palestinian protesters outside of the UN building, including Roger Waters of Pink Floyd.

The US responded by revoking his US diplomatic visa. Petro posted to twitter that it did not bother him.

Last month, US treasury placed economic sanctions on Gustavo Petro and accused him of being a "narco-terrorist" for not being complicit with the US attacks on Venezuela.

Some of the boats the the US attacked in the Caribbean Sea may have been Colombian civilian boats.
