"Despite over a decade in development, take caution that Tavern Keeper is still an early access game." lol
Jeez, how does a sim game like this take over a decade in dev?
Feature creep + seeking perfection + profitability of the project + passion.
For further clarification, see: Project Zomboid and Exanima.
I doubt this is anyone’s full time project.
I've sunk a good deal of hours into it last year and honestly it was already pretty complete. I don't know what they've added recently but it seems the game has been mature for some time now
There's always Inn Keeper, which just got out of Early Access.
Is every game just a Synty low poly asset flip theses days? Somebody needs to start using something different soon, cos everything's starting to look the same. It's just so obvious too! One of the clips on that Steam page is literally a bunch of them just rotating in T pose 🤣
I also dislike the use of Synty packs (I am surprised they haven't added more variations), but I don't think Tavern Keeper uses Synty.
I don't think it does either. I was referring to BenLeMan's link Inn Keeper posted above.
Bet they're milking a Patreon
No, there is no Patreon.
