What we call in Spain a regular Tuesday.
Man I knew you guys did siestas; I didn't know you all donated your kidneys once a week.
The average lifespan in Spain is about three weeks past adulthood and the dialysis industry is the nation's #1 employer
In Spain everyone is by default a donor and every donation is anonymous.
I'm assuming you mean they default to being a donor when they die, but no one in Spain is going around forcing living people to give up their organs.
We can donate while alive but there's not that much of a pressure because being a donor when you die is opt-out. Only blood and bone marrow have campaigns to donate.
