I really hope this is a signal that a lot of people are widening up to the trans scapegoat. We are literally just people trying to live our lives, and we deserve the same rights as everyone else.
Trump's ilk are using the Nazi playbook: find a visible minority that your voterbase finds uncomfortable and dehumanise it until it's okay to persecute it, then expand dehumanisation to other, less visible or uncomfortable, but troublesome groups.
