I assure you it's not intentional. It's completely unclear to me what this means, either in the context of Canadian proportional representation or with regard to the Fediverse. I didn't know that the logo in the second panel was for Lemmy.world until you mentioned it in one of the comments, I have no idea what drama is going on that involves them, and what little I've gleaned from the comments so far doesn't give any indication that it's linked to the subject of this community at all.
Lemmy world holds 39% of the lemmyverse, that's too much people under one instance. We need to spread out more, we need more representation of smaller instances on the fediverse.
Okay, so as I was suspecting this has nothing to do with proportional representation in the government of Canada. Or in general, really, because the Fediverse is not a government and "holding 39%" doesn't have any particular voting power.
And I'm not even in the "lemmyverse" for that matter, I'm on an mbin instance. If you want to gripe about the ecosystem being dominated by particular elements perhaps that's an even bigger issue to look at.
