I’ve actually never cooked beef in this way (done steaks before) but never this cut or teriyaki style but it turned out great!
I wanted WaBa Grill the other day and decided I’d rather not go out and spend money on fast food and instead increase my cooking knowledge and actually using my kitchen and the food I buy. In total, I spent between $15-$20 for all the ingredients and I have enough for at least 2 bowls. But this same price is about how much a single bowl like this would have cost me there, so I’ve saved pretty well on this one and I had fun doing it!
It was very delicious, much better than I was expecting, but I think I’ll change up next time by using less teriyaki sauce (it flowed out of that bottle QUICK lol) and using a different cut of beef. But other than that, I enjoyed every bit of this meal. The avocado meshes so well with this in a way I can’t describe and I’m not a fan of sesame seeds, but I did it for the look and actually it wasn’t that bad tasting to me on this. I think I will do that again too.
Every self sufficient decision is a win. Way to go! Looks tasty.
Thank you!
