As reported by lemm.ee's staff team at !meta@lemm.ee, the instance will be shut down by the end of this month and that means communities along with it, including !ask@lemm.ee.

I've got to say, a lot of the more negative interactions I've had have been at lem.ee, so I'm not really that sad about it.

admin burnout from running a general lemmy instance they said, which makes sense since ee attracted the second most redditors from the migration
